The Scarlet Paper
A Woman is a Dangerous Thing To Waste...

Citizens of America, prepare yourself for Operation: Irani Freedom. Apparently, in a dejavu-performance in front of the senate, Porter Goss (doesn't his name sound like he should be a character on The O.C. or Dawson's Creek?) stated that Iran is our biggest enemy in the Middle East. Check it out:

CIA, FBI Warn Panel of Top Threats to U.S..

What I find very amusing in a sad and pathetic way is the fact that not only are we supposed to fear the Iranians and the Iraqi insurgents (Syria is on our shit list too) we must fear the Muslim people in our country as well. Even the ones that have been here for years and years. You know that family that lives next door to your for 20 years and your kids play together? They could be a sleeper cell!!!

"FBI (news - web sites) Director Robert Mueller cautioned of the risk posed by radicalized Muslim converts inside the United States and said he worries about a sleeper operative who may have been in place for years, awaiting orders launch an attack. "I remain very concerned about what we are not seeing," he said in his prepared remarks.

The phrase "radicalized Muslim converts" is very problematic to me. Does that mean that the Black Muslims that sell oils and incense in the subway are to be feared also? The Nation of Islam are terrorists also? This is getting into weird territory. If we go after anyone that is Muslim then we go after Black people, then Asian people, Latinos can't be far off (or will Bush keep them around to do the jobs the white people don't want to do? Like become Mrs. George W. Bush?) Also, how do we know which Muslims are radicalized? Who becomes the judge on the criteria for radical Islamic belief and behavior? Our government? Perhaps that might anger Muslim people a bit if we start putting out a list of characteristics for radical Muslim terrorists. Jeff Foxworthy could deliver the public service announcement on television. For example, "You might be a radical Muslim convert if...." or "You know you're a Muslim terrorist sleeper cell when..."

The choice of words the CIA and FBI use are very important. The fact that Robert Mueller said, "I remain very concerned about what we are not seeing" tells America and the Senate that we must live in fear. Tragedy is around every corner and no one Muslim (and all its stereotyped population) can not be trusted.

Here is an unbelievably stomach-turning story regarding an anti-malaria drug called Larium that soldiers in Iraq have been taking. Apparently it makes you go crazy, gives you a brain disorder and turns you suicidal. What fun!

What makes me most nauseas is that when the soldiers ask for help, the are charged with "cowardice" or discharged from the army. Nice government. To think that Bush wouldn't accept Rumsfeld's resignation. I guess that means that Bush himself doesn't give a flying fuck about the condition of our soldiers (big shocker) even to the extent that he gave them medicine where these side effects are known to happen.

Worry Spreads Over GI Drug Side Effects.

Also, if you live in a blue state you are about to get less funding. Not because you didn't vote for Bush, but it just happens that most city folk, urban people are in blue states. Tough luck for us.
Bush Budget Cuts Targets Blue States.

Finally, surprise surprise, Corporations support Bush's agenda for Social Security and limiting medical malpractice lawsuits. The Democrats are planning on holding community events to get people riled up, but really, we need a Dr. King or a Gandhi to rally the masses. Where is that person?
Conservatives Join Forces for Bush Plans.

I've been gone for a while, now I am back.

Ann Coulter is the best thing that could have happened to the conservative movement. Sure, she makes our country look bad and is the walking stereotype of a brassy, ignorant, obnoxious American, but the more she fucks up the better off the progressive movement is. Read this article: Ann Coulter Sticks Her Entire Leg in Her Mouth.

What's funny about this is that she is so adamant that Canada particpated in the Vietnam War, forgetting that Canada was the country where all of the drafted soldiers ran to to escape the war. Hello, McFly!!!!
Every time I see her on Real Time with Bill Maher, she makes my blood boil because she is so loud and ignorant and pigheaded. She is the epitomy of the conservative movement and I hate to be sexist against my own gender, but since she didn't get where she is on her intellect, she probably got there by getting gangbanged by anonymous conservative pundits. Fill in names here:___________.

In other more scary and important news, President Bush is taking away all the money from the poor and destitute, from children and education in his new trillion dollar budget. Meanwhile sounding the horns for the war on Social Security. Why are you making young people hate the elderly? Instead of creating a political divide like he did with the war on Iraq and red versus blue state, he is creating a generation gap that will hurt this country more than the color coded maps on election night. One day we will get old and we will need that check. I have an idea. If you are 65 and ready to retire and you are a millionaire, you should not be allowed to get social security and medicare. Period. If you are a wealthy person now and enjoying the tax break that W. gave you a few years ago, then you know that if we roll that sucker back we can solve this problem. If we stop spending money on war and building more weapons than our country would be in better shape. How about we give people a sandwich instead of invading their country? How about we go into these countries and talk to the people about their culture, their lives, their dreams and see what they want before we inflict useless, ridiculous elections on them? Here is a newsflash, if the candidates in your election have to hide their identities because they fear for their lives and the people voting don't know what the election is about, it is a worthless election. You don't know who or what you are voting for? Great stick your finger in this purple dye and stick it up your ass.

Despite VP Dick's assertions that religious fundamentalism is not going to be the law in Iraq, all media reports state otherwise.
Here are a few articles on the topic:

Iraq Shiite Leaders Demand Islam be the Source of Law.

Leading Shiite Clerics Pushing Islamic Constitution in Iraq.

I think the NY Times article requires you to log in before you can read it.

Thats it for today.

Scarlet Pimp. Out.
