The Scarlet Paper
A Woman is a Dangerous Thing To Waste...

The cry for impeachment is low for George W. Bush, despite the fact that he committed the same crime for which Richard Nixon was impeached.

In fact, W. has the nerve to hold a press conference to discuss why he was justified and why illegally wire-tapping and monitoring the conversations of over 500 American citizens was not a crime but a maneuver, if you will, because as Condaleeza Rice stated, the courts were too "cumbersome" for terrorism thwarting.

Why not try to change the process instead of disregarding it? A reporter asked. In his typical W. fashion he answered the voices in his head and talked about Iraq and the historical freedom-bringing that was going on.

Here is a great article calling for the impeachment by D. Ireland. A Time to Impeach.

I think we can do better than this, don't you?Read the memo sent home to parents regarding the matter. letter to parents regarding biology curriculum.

Can you imagine that there are parents that would want their children to be removed from the classroom while this memo is read aloud?

Grow up people. It is a cold cruel world out there. When your kids face new ideas you don't want them the have a meltdown, do you? Do you want them to not know how to process new or conflicting ideas?

This is a great defeat for those of us who have an open mind on a wacky thing called science!
